Laphroaig 10 Year Old is an all-malt Scotch Whisky from the remote island of Islay in the Western Isles of Scotland. Laphroaig, pronounced "La-froyg", is a Gaelic word meaning "the beautiful hollow by the broad bay".

Peat, soft smoke, disinfectant, new bottle of motor oil
Taste
Huge peat, soft smoke, shellfish, motor oil, scope mouth wash (the green one), light salt, hints of floral
Finish
The peat stays with you from the arrival to the finish and then some. The peat leaves lips, mouth, and throat numb and tingling. The finish is long and lingering.
